Many years ago I purchased a book called “Life After Life” . This book was several accounts of near death experiences from all over the world. The people who experienced these events had no contact with each other, no connections and nothing in common except these NDE experiences, yet their accounts were almost all extremely similar. Some details as they tried to explain what and who they saw varied, but it seemed that these variances were in the interpretations.
Since I read that book, the internet was born and now there are so many video accounts of NDE experiences online, it really solidifies the commonalities and I’d like to share some of those with you here.
The first thing that struck me as not only comforting but as an indication of the love of our source, or god (or whatever you want to call it) is the smooth and even peaceful transition from our human bodies to our souls. In some cases such as in a plane crash, our “selves” were moved out of the body BEFORE the crash. This is very much in line with the Buddhist idea that birth is much more traumatic than death.
The experiences all reported a sense of themselves as the very fabric of peace and unconditional love. They viewed events of their lives, high points and low points, all without judgment but more as a guide to see when they were aligned with this unconditional love, and when they were not.
Messages were transmitted but not through words. Every guide they experienced were loving and benevolent. Some were guided to go back into their bodies as they had more to do. Some were given a choice.
All experienced timelessness and see time as only a construct of the human reality. They see a full spectrum of light and dimension which we can only glimpse a fraction of here on Earth.
Some saw life opportunities they missed. Many recognized that who they really are is timeless. Some were able to see some of their prior lives if it pertained to their evolving purpose.
All NDE accounts came back no longer fearing death and with a resolved understanding of their purpose.
Another common theme is the realization that they themselves are one with the universe. They no longer see everyone as separate from themselves. Their former idea that they had to find love had given way to the reality that they ARE love and every seeming mission on Earth was to share that love. The deeper the understanding of this causes love to overflow through them. Many come back full of gratefulness, seeing everything differently. Seeing value and love in the smallest details.
Regarding their spiritual beliefs, these experiences changed many of them completely. They no longer see the differences and separateness of religion. Only the truth of love that streams throughout most all of them. The one’s who retained their beliefs, had a much better idea of these truths, heretofore hidden from them based on their conditioned belief systems.
Why are these accounts so numerous? Simply because they were all given the opportunity to remember who they really are and are felt compelled to share it, out of love.
If these things resonate with you, then you still remember to some extent the essence of love with you, within all of us.
Go forth and share it!
Paul
